Four Points Sheraton Bolzano Hotel is next to the fair grounds, 800 m from the exit of the highway A22 Bolzano Sud, 700 m from the local airport, 100 m from the railway link to downtown.
Bolzano's natural surroundings have long been an attraction to hikers, climbers, avid skiers and ordinary tourists who wish to experience the beauty of the area. The city-centre is a blend of plazas and covered arcaded walkways and shops. Waltherplatz or Piazza Walther is the outdoor living room of local Tyroleans. Between the months of September to November is what the locals refer to as Torggelen, the wine tasting season.
