Mayang Sari Beach Resort is located on Bintan Island, Indonesia, a 55-minute ferry journey from Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal in Singapore.
Bintan lsland is the largest of 3,200 islands in the Riau Archipelago and the 3rd largest of 27 provinces in Indonesia. Located at the crossroads of one of the world's oldest and busiest maritime trading routes, Bintan has provided a safe haven to traders and sailors from Europe, India and China for over a century.
Guests should be aware that Bintan is 1 hour behind Singapore. Guests need to take a high-speed catamaran from Singapore's Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal (TMFT). The transfer to and from the ferry terminal will be provided by the resort. Mayang Sari Beach Resort should be informed in advance as to when guests are arriving so that the necessary arrangements can be made for the transfer. There are no buses or taxis on the island. |
