The Solana Hotel is a newly finished 4-star Hotel situated in the centre of the quaint village of Mellieha. The Hotel's façade, built in traditional Maltese Limestone is a good introduction to what lies behind. The outdoor pool area elevated above the village of Mellieha and right in the center of the valley gives you an almost aerial view of the Islands of Gozo and Comino and Mellieha Bay which seems to be just beneath you. Others simply relax by sampling the cocktail menu, taking in the Maltese sun and enjoying the view which as the famous Maltese song says, is the most beautiful in Malta.

The distinctive restaurant at Solana Hotel complimented with quality service, fabulous cuisines, selected foreign and local wines, an elegant setting and more. It is here that both Local and International flavours can be savoured in comfy surroundings with local scenes across the restaurant’s terrace leading to the busiest road of the Village. Tosca Restaurant offers Buffet service for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner and the selection is abundant to look at.
Café Puccini
A must visit Coffee Shop offering a wide selection of baguettes and snacks, salads, home made pastries and coffee specialities a choice of cocktails, local and foreign beers and International drinks. This is the Hotel’s meeting spot at any time of day. Café Puccini prominently set at The Hotel’s Lobby and offers the best of both Worlds! A lounge area with numerous comfortable sofas and couches and a seating area with Café style tables and chairs. The glass counter at the bar pleases the eye with a rainbow of pastries, gateaux, cakes, fruit flans, muffins, almond fancies, rum balls and the local speciaity; Kannoli tal-irkotta- A deep fried pastry tube filled with creamed cottage cheese sprinkled with angel dust. |
